Activity Overview
Storyboard That's Picture Encyclopedia is a fantastic resource for research and inspiration! This activity invites students to find a topic that interests them such as an invention, someone from ancient mythology, or an astronomy discovery. They can use the Picture Encyclopedia to read a synopsis of their topic and take notes. Then, they will create a poster that illustrates the topic and provides important facts and details.
These posters can be downloaded as a high resolution image (png) and printed out on large paper to be hung around the classroom as a beautiful and informative decoration! They can also be displayed digitally and students can take turns giving presentations about their topic to their classmates.

- Use the poster template provided to create an eye catching design that includes a title and important facts in the text boxes.
- Add an illustration using scenes, characters, and items that represent your topic.
