Bei der Erstellung eines Storyboards für den Film ist es zwingend erforderlich, dass die Bilder das Skript widerspiegeln. Bewegung ist zentral für diese Bilder: die Bewegungen der Charaktere und Objekte innerhalb der Szene, sowie die Bewegung der Kamera beobachtet es. Anstatt die Beschreibungsbox mit mühsamen Details jeder Handlung zu betrügen, lass das Bild die Bewegung einer Szene mitteilen. Pfeile sind eine einfache und erkennbare Möglichkeit, Bewegung oder Progression zu zeigen.
