Activity Overview
The Miracle Worker is an incredible story about the beginning of the long lasting relationship between Helen Keller and Annie Sullivan. Although we do not know what happens to them beyond the end of the play, we can only assume that their lives were extremely fascinating moving forward! For this extension activity, students will conduct a research project on either Helen Keller or Annie Sullivan and create a poster that showcases what they have learned. To challenge students even further, teachers may assign research on both women.
