Storyboard Text

  • CAUSE
  • Fern, I know more about raising a litter of pigs than you. A weakling makes trouble.
  • But it's unfair! The pig couldn't help being born small, could it? If I had been born very small at birth, would you have killed me?
  • EFFECT
  • Salutations!
  • Fern throws a fit about the injustice of killing a piglet just because he is the runt of the litter.
  • That's a fine spider. I'm going to capture it!
  • Wilbur’s life is saved, and he becomes an important friend to Fern and many animals in the barn.
  • What a stink! Let's get out of here!
  • Avery cracks the goose's rotton egg.
  • Avery runs away from the awful smell, and Charlotte is safe.
  • A miracle has happened on this farm.
  • Charlotte spins “some pig” into her web.
  • Mr. Zuckerman begins to realize that he has a special pig.
