  • It is with great sadness that we must report the death of King Hamlet early last night. Reports say it was at the hand of a poisonous snake, the origins of which are currently unknown. At the death of the king, a strange ghost appears to be wandering the turrets. Horatio claims the ghost appears to look like King Hamlet, however it may just be a product of grief. During his reign, King Hamlet was instrumental in keeping the Norwegian forces at bay, killing King Fortinbras only a few years ago. With the crown now being passed to his brother Claudius, it remains clear that the new King will continue this attempt to dissuade foreign invaders from reaching Denmark.King Hamlet leaves behind Denmark, his wife Gertrude, and his son Hamlet. Memorial services will be held post haste and the king lain to rest in the royal burial ground alongside all previous monarchs. The king is dead. Long live the king.
