Due to the vast amount of forest land, trees are a valuable natural resources in Ontario.
The abundance of water, including the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence River, provides recreation, transportation, and hydroelectricity for the province.
Southern Ontario has a great deal of agricultural land. Along with its climate, this makes it a desirable place to raise livestock and all different types of crops such as corn, wheat, and vegetables.
