Storyboard Text

  • Welcome to Toronto!
  • Dear Jill,Hello! How is your vacation going? Ours is so amazing. We are here in Toronto, the capital of Ontario. Today we visited the CN Tower in downtown. It was SO cool! My mom told me that it was completed in 1976, and is named after Canadian National, the railway company that built it. It is 553.3 meters high and made out of concrete. We rode up the glass elevator to the SkyPod, and it was scary but fun. Did you know that people actually pay money to do what's called an "Edge Walk"? They can walk along the edge of the super narrow platform. Obviously it's done in a safe way, but I don't think I would ever do that, it's so high! We also learned that over 1.5 million people visit the CN Tower each year, and now I know why! Well, I hope that you're having a nice break, and I will see you back at school next week!Your BFF,Lauren
