Activity Overview

Creating a postcard is a great way to highlight important sites and tourist spots in a country! In this activity, students will create a postcard, including an image of the site and a description about the site. Students should be creative, incorporating things like the country's flag or other important symbols, and looking up the cost of a stamp in that country! They can also upload photos or use Photos for Class to find real photographs of the location if they can't find something in the Storyboard Creator that suits their needs. Teachers can assign students various locations within a country, or encourage students to choose their own to increase engagement. Postcards can be printed, laminated, and hung around the classroom, or "delivered" for students to admire and learn more about countries from around the world!
