A Gift of Chappals is a story that revolves around four children, Mridu and her three cousins, Ravi, Meena, and Lalli. The cousins have a very tight bond, from their sharing of secrets to their mischievous and generous antics. Through this story, Vasantha Surya captures children's simplistic behavior, their desire to explore things despite their fears, their minds’ ability to reach any conclusion, and their sense of generosity.
