I can’t draw. I’ve tried to learn, but my hand does not move the pencil in quite the right way. Even though my hands don’t have the master skills of an artist, my brain is still very creative. Storyboard That is very easy to use and it's fun to use all year long!
These activities will take you and students through the process of creating storyboards that serve two purposes: to get students familiar with the program, and to get to know your new students and discover their goals, aspirations, likes and dislikes in a fun, visual medium.
Instructions and processes are so much more easily understood when accompanied by visuals. When we storyboard a process or create a sequential diagram, we can focus on discrete steps, cause and effect, and sequence.
Students will create visual step-by-step instructions to show their classmates how to do their favorite activity or something that they learned over summer break.

HOW TO GROW A GARDEN!
CHOOSE YOUR SEEDS!
STEP 1
FIND THE PERFECT SPOT!
STEP 2
DIG, PLANT, WATER!
STEP 3
WATCH THEM GROW!
STEP 4
Choose what you would like to plant! You can plant flowers, vegetables, or fruits! Make sure to check how much sunlight and water your plant needs when you are making your choice.
After determining how much sunlight and water your plant needs, choose a place to plant it. You want to make sure that your site gets adequate sunlight.
Use a shovel to dig a hole in the dirt. A good rule of thumb is to plant your seeds at a depth equal to two or three times their width. It is actually better to plant seeds too shallow than too deep ,as they may not grow. Water your seeds according to the directions; typically once a day.
How long it takes to grow from seed to plant depends on your seeds. It could take three weeks or three months. You must be patient and water and care for your plant to help it grow! You will be so proud of what you helped create.
